Hire A Tree Surgeon For Your Pruning Needs

Pruning trees can be one of the most beneficial things you can do, it will allow them to live longer and grow stronger.

If you do it yourself, there are many risks that you must take into account such as you could hurt your trees and shorten their lifespan if you do it incorrectly. You must be prepared to climb up high while operating heavy duty machinery that could seriously hurt you if you do not know how to use them and are not operating them with caution.

This is why tree surgeons, otherwise known as arborists, exist. They are extremely knowledgeable in the art of tree surgery. Tree Surgeons are experts in handling heavy duty equipment and can easily help you prune and heal your trees wounds for maximum growth and health.

Are You Pruning Your Trees Correctly?

A lot of people don’t and as a result, their trees become weak over the years, and eventually die. It’s quite frustrating when you put in all that hard work in the hopes of extending your trees’ lives just to see them die right before your eyes.

Pruning actually takes a lot of careful and precise cutting of certain areas of the branches that will allow the tree to heal up and continue growing. A lot of people usually cut wherever they think will look best without really taking into consideration what it can do to the tree.

There are many methods to prune a tree and a professional tree surgeon will have the proper training, qualification, and experience to help you prune your trees to perfection. They may even offer you advice  if you were to decide to do it yourself the next time it’s required.

You Save Money And Time When You Get A Professional To Prune Your Trees For You

When people think of DIY (Do It Yourself), they tend to think that it will save them a lot of money rather than hiring a professional. This is true for some things, but not when it comes to your plants and trees.

When you are performing any type of tree cutting or planting, you will have to spend a lot of money on proper the equipment to do the job. To add to the investment, you’ll need a lot of time to do the labor too. As a non-professional, you’ll most likely spend a lot of time and the chances of messing up are a lot higher. If you do mess up, you’ll be losing both the time and money you will have put in.

When you hire a professional, they’ll come equipped with everything, including the willingness to do the job right.

This is especially important when you want your trees pruned. A tree surgeon can do it for less than all the time and equipment that you will spend by doing it yourself.

When you have professional work done, there will be little to no risks of injuries or damages done to your property.

Ending Thoughts

Leave the care of your trees to a trusted professional who can not just benefit you and your trees, but also the ecosystem.

A reason why arborists and tree surgeons exist is to give back to our planet and keep the trees around as long as possible.

Crown reducing is the selective removal of branches and stems to reduce the height and/or spread of the crown of a tree. This type of pruning should be carried out when there is a need to minimize the risk of failure of a tree or to reduce interference to nearby buildings or other structures. Crown Reducing is also a preferred alternative to Removal or Felling to increase Sun-light and to open scenery views.

Tree Pruning effectively helps to maintain the crown’s shape and appearance. It is sometimes possible to save an infected tree by strategically pruning away affected branches and limbs. Thinning the crown of a tree improves airflow, which can be very beneficial and proves to help with generating new growth, fruit & flowers.

Pollarding is a method of pruning that keeps trees and shrubs smaller than they would naturally grow. It is normally started once a tree or shrub reaches a certain height, and annual Pollarding will restrict the tree to that height.

Deadwooding is mainly used for safety and for the continued health of a tree. A high amount of deadwood reduces the tree’s aesthetic appearance and if left unattended, it attracts pests and diseases.

Stump Grinding is a specialist service that we provide to remove any old or un-wanted stumps. This process is completed by our stump grinding machines that vary in size, from being capable of removing the very biggest of stumps on commercial projects to narrow garden gate access for small stumps typically found in your garden. The unwanted stumps are ground out and the mulch/chipping's that are generated is typically backfilled to fill the hole of where the stump was previously, leaving a perfect replanting area for a new tree or flat base for new grass.
