This afternoon’s hedge works completed on behalf of @keydrummondestateagentsWe often hear that “tree surgeons don’t like hedge cutting” and even often over-price hedge works to avoid doing them! The question is… Do some tree surgeons (not all) just don’t enjoy hedge cutting or are they simply not very good at it?! Hedge cutting to a high standard is something we’re proud of and can argue that it is an Art form and we believe professional hedge cutting isn’t a skill easily acquired or to be overlooked! Contact us today to arrange a FREE Tree Surgery or Hedge Works Quotation. 🛜 www.TheTreeMusketeers.com📞 01202 38 39 40 📧Info@thetreemusketeers.com ... See MoreSee Less

Eucalyptus Pollard 🌳 Today’s task was to mass reduce this very fast growing Eucalyptus tree. The tree had quickly started to out-grow it’s allocated space and the leading stem starting to grow towards the property. We discussed the best options with our client who had recently moved into the property and originally wanted to remove the whole tree, but after learning that this particular species are able to regrow a new canopy (even when cut to very low levels and sometimes even from stump), then decided on a low pollard which would in-turn allow the tree to regenerate a new canopy and be maintained at more suitable height. The finished works will now allow our client to keep a little screenage once the new canopy regenerates and will also still be able to enjoy the tree but at a more manageable height. Today saw the completion of a large Split out Macrocarpa Limb. With getting a little luck with the weather this morning, the race was on to get the works completed before the rain & possible lightening that was forecast for the early afternoon. Our client had opted to try and retain the tree, which meant removal of the failed limbs had to be completed with the upmost care for not only the flowers, shrubs and fence but also the tree itself. This particular large limb had also damaged further branches on the neighbouring tree in which it had came to rest and the tree also had another small failed limb lower in the canopy. The team cracked on with the works and completed the limb removal, using a multiple of rigging & lowering techniques and managed to get the last section fully completed just as a clap of thunder sounded! 🌲 ⛈️ 01202 38 39 40www.TheTreeMusketeers.com#TechnicalStartToTheWeek #Bournemouth #TreeSurgeon #StormDamage #treesurgery #arboristsofinstagram #chainsaw #Climber #rigging ...
